Released in 2004, the “Melo” colorway of the Air Jordan Retro II has became a fan-favorite immediately. A very limited release, people did the necessary campout to get these back then (although campouts were much easier back then). Five years have gone by, and these don’t get any easier to find. The first colorway of the Air Jordan XIX to be retroed! This original was released in the Jordan 19/4 Collezione “Countdown” Package in 2008. They were only available in this package and never sold separately. They sold out immediately and since then have been becoming very sought after. “College Blue” OG Air Jordan XVII Back In Stock!!

The first colorway of the Air Jordan XVII released, EVER! This colorway was released in February of 2002 for the All-Star game. This marked the first Air Jordan sneaker to be released in the Wizards colorway as opposed to the traditional Bulls colorways. This was due to MJ returning to the NBA for a 3rd time and playing two seasons for the Washington Wizards. Either way, these have since become highly sought after and super hard-to-find. Pricing is per signature. At this time, NO PAIRS being accepted, only a single shoe from the pair will be signed, this is per the athlete’s terms. These prices may change at anytime without notice.

Michael Jordan: $1,000 : Shoes must be received by November 30th! (last signing of 2009!)

If you don’t see an athletes name, then no signing is currently available.

The athletes will only sign their own shoes (Jordan on Jordans, Kobe on Kobe’s, Lebron on Lebrons, etc). The right shoe is the best shoe to be signed for display purposes (you can have either signed, but Upper Deck recommends the right shoe), and will only sign their name.

Getting your kicks signed is something very few people get to do – and to have the signature authenticated ensures your item is legit. I’ve bought a few pairs of signed shoes and they came with a document from an NBA stating the shoes were from one of their auctions… but I really never knew if they were the real thing as anyone could create some letterhead. With the Upper Deck program you don’t have to worry about that.

I’ve had two shoes signed through this program; OG Jordan I Lows and OG Jordan V PEs and they came back perfect.

Here is how it works –

1. E-mail Jr. at ajordanxi@solecollector.com in this format below, include your name/address/phone # , be sure to include all information, otherwise your request may not be processed:

2. Once you send us this info, we will contact Upper Deck to make sure your item can be signed.

3. You will be sent a confirmation e-mail with an ID # for our records.

4. Send in the shoes to the provided address with the ID # & all your info.

5. Receive the shoes after they are signed via FedEx, along with the Certificate with Hologram # & matching Hologram sticker.

It is that simple –

Now for the fine print. Signing dates change - but the dates we provide should be fairly accurate, if they do change, your shoes will be held until the next signing is available. Also, I would not send in any shoe that is crumbling or has aged to the point that it is borderline to hold up. I sent in a pair of OG 1s from 1985 and they came back fine – but you have to understand that moving any seriously old shoes could result in cracking. We treat your shoes with the same care that we treat our own – they are all priceless to us. Just remember shipping old shoes can have affects.

Also, Sole Collector will be authenticating each shoe when it comes in. If a fake shoe is shipped to us then you can count on that shoe not being signed and you’ll be lucky if you even get it back.

Some pairs are unable to be signed due to Upper Deck/Nike agreements, such as some pairs of XX3, and other limited Jordan’s.

Other than that – have fun with it! This is an awesome program and I back it 100%.

These feature a unique “Mars” logo on the heel of the shoe to symbolize all the work Spike Lee did with Jordan in the early years of commercials and such. The black/metallic silver/fire red colorway of the Air Jordan V. This is one of the most popular colorways of the V, and was the first original one to see a retro release two times (once in 2000 and again in 2007). This 2007 version features the #23 on the side giving it that “PE” style as MJ’s personal pairs he wore back in 1990 had the #23 on the side. We just re-stocked in these and have many different sizes available. These won’t last long and are becoming very hard to come by.
