While most remember the VI in the Carmine colorway, as it has gone on to attain iconic status, it was the Black/Infrared colorway that Michael Jordan wore on the grandest of all stages – the NBA Finals. In trouncing the Magic-led Lakers convincingly in just five games, MJ had finally answered his critics, deferring to teammates like Scottie Pippen and John Paxson in crucial moments, all the while cementing his greatness en route to his first of six championships.
