Premium quality was kept in mind when the II was conceptualized, and while Nike’s factories were anchored throughout Asia, it would be in Italy where the luxe and supple leathers would be constructed atop the high performance choice for Jordan during his second season. Unfortunately, he’d go on to miss sixty-four games with a broken foot, but even today, it’s the simple elegance and quality that the II is most remembered for.
